How does Velko analyze my meals?

Velko uses AI to analyze photos and descriptions of your meals. When you snap a photo or describe what you ate, our AI identifies the food items and estimates calories, protein, carbs, fat, fiber, and other nutrients.

How accurate is the nutritional analysis?

Our AI provides estimates based on visual analysis. While generally reliable for common foods, accuracy can vary based on portion sizes, ingredients, and preparation methods. For precise tracking, you can edit any values after analysis.

Is my data private?

Yes. Your meal photos and personal data are used solely to provide the service. We do not sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I delete my account?

You can request account deletion by contacting us at support@velko.ai. All your data (profile, meals, photos, weight history) will be permanently removed within 30 days.

What dietary profiles does Velko support?

Velko supports 13+ dietary styles including keto, vegan, vegetarian, paleo, Mediterranean, gluten-free, dairy-free, low-sodium, DASH, Whole30, pescatarian, and more. You can set your dietary profile in Settings.

Who is Cam?

Cam is your AI nutrition companion -- a chameleon who changes color based on your food choices (green for healthy, yellow for moderate, red for less ideal). Cam provides daily coaching insights and encouragement.
